Planed surface
By planing with cutting knives, we process wood that has previously been roughly sawn to size. Planing marks are visible.
This is the first step toward the final processing of wooden products. The quality of the planed finish itself depends on the type of wood, the moisture content of the wood, the quality of the blades, and the quality of the prior wood processing (cutting).
To achieve an even smoother surface, the planed wood can be additionally sanded.
