NOTE: we do not offer impregnation as an individual service. However, it is available as wood protection for products from our sales program.
By impregnation, we increase the wood’s resistance to climatic conditions, increase resistance to rot, insects, and termites, and at the same time it can already serve as a decorative final coating in a subtle greenish tone. We carry out impregnation with a quality impregnating agent from a renowned Slovenian manufacturer.
The impregnation is made on a water basis. The product has low viscosity, so it is well absorbed into the wood. The protective agent contains inorganic salts that become fixed in the wood and after a certain time become non-leachable. This time also depends on climatic conditions. It can additionally be coated with various finishes.
The impregnation itself is carried out in an impregnation tank. We fill the emptied tank with wood, then use pumps to fill the tank with the impregnating solution. After 24 hours, we use pumps to empty the tank filled with the impregnating solution and leave the wood to rest for a certain time so that the excess impregnation drains from the wood.
The wood is then stored in an airy and shaded place until final fixation or non-leachability. In our tank, we can impregnate products up to 450 cm in length, 105 cm in width, and 80 cm in height.
Impregnated wood does not require maintenance and over the years, like any wood, turns gray, which is also a completely natural process and gives the wood a special character.
