With us, you have the option to choose from several CUBIE garden shed options. Garden sheds custom-made / made to order, garden houses of standard shapes (standard dimensions) or reference garden pavilions. Most customers choose the first option (custom-made), as this gives them the opportunity to co-create and achieve complete adaptation to their needs and wishes. We also want to enable everyone to truly design a garden shed according to their wishes and needs, and we make this a reality as much as possible. Of course, we must adhere to the basics, such as the metal structure, type of roof, facade types, maximum dimensions (due to transport), etc. This way, the garden house retains the recognizable CUBIE quality, character, and style.
Insulation The standard insulation of CUBIE garden houses is suitable for our climate, so living is possible throughout all four seasons. The level of insulation depends on your preferences, i.e. how much you want to use the garden house. Basic wall insulation starts at 15 cm of insulation. Ceiling insulation from 20 cm, floor insulation from 10 cm.
Siberian larch on garden houses can optionally be oiled with pigmented oils and give the wood the desired color effect. The oil washes out over time, so reapplication is needed every 1-3 years, depending on exposure and your expectations. We do not recommend painting with varnish, as larch has very poor adhesion due to the oil content in the wood structure, and the coating begins to peel.
In all likelihood, your garden shed does not require a building permit. Please note that regulations differ from municipality to municipality, so we recommend that you inquire about the compliance of the placement of the selected garden shed at the local administrative unit where you intend to install the CUBIE garden shed.
Average delivery time is 30-45 days, depending on the season. In warmer months, the delivery time is longer. The exact date is determined when ordering.
We definitely most recommend a concrete slab. Otherwise, at least paving stones on a well-compacted base.

Wood graying is a natural process that is hard to avoid, but it is precisely the graying, the growth ring patterns, and the texture of the wood that give this natural material its special character. At first, graying usually begins near the ground, where the wood is most exposed to rain. It may look as if the wood in some places develops small black dots or stains. But this is only temporary; in the end, all the wood will turn evenly gray in all its beauty and complete the overall appearance of the cabin for many years to come. Graying can be slowed down by oiling, which also washes out over time, so it is necessary to oil every 1-3 years, depending on exposure and your expectations. CUBIE wooden garden houses do not require maintenance, as we use Siberian larch of AA quality, which is the most durable wood for our weather conditions. The natural process of wood greying can, however, be slowed down by oiling (the use of pigmented oils for a color effect is also possible). We believe that the natural greying of wood gives the wood a special character and a feeling of homeliness; in the end, the decision is always yours. You can also choose from plaster facades in various colors, sheet metal, and fiber cement boards.

It is possible. We make it as a standalone object and connect it to the existing unit, ensuring the waterproofing of the roof and walls.
If you estimate that you cannot send accurate dimension data due to difficult terrain or you are concerned about transporting the modular house on remote narrow roads, we can also come for an inspection and carry out the measurements ourselves.
The houses are resistant to our weather conditions, as they are made of a metal structure, durable and high-quality materials. The roof is suitable for snow loads in Slovenia, while also being heavy enough that strong wind cannot move it (it cannot be knocked over due to the metal structure). If installed in a location with extreme conditions, the house can also be additionally screwed into the ground.
We deliver the fully finished modular shed with a Hiab truck, or a mobile crane if the shed is heavier or the distance is greater than a Hiab truck can handle. We then install the cabin on site within one hour. We also adjust the feet according to the height and unevenness of the terrain.

It is an exceptionally durable wood which, due to growing in harsh conditions, provides the garden shed with durability and a long service life.
The CUBIE garden house is entirely made in our own production in Domžale. The production of the wooden house takes place in a highly organized serial production process, where all details are continuously checked and care is taken to ensure everything is in its proper place. We also have an ISO 9001 certificate, which confirms our controlled work process. In 2021, we also carried out a digital transformation of production and ensured that our carpentry masters have modern equipment available, as well as even greater control over the quality of the final product. During production, we check the quality of the house at 54 control points. This ensures that our wooden creations are at the highest possible level. By prior arrangement, we enable, that you can come and see the production and thus see for yourself that the garden house is in experienced, precise, and safe hands.
